Golf with Sunset
“Fore!”,
shouted Sunset as Dad hit his golf ball through the trees! Sunset skipped off to search for the
ball. He looked in the sheep paddock,
but it wasn’t there! He looked in the
trees, but it wasn’t there either! (He
thought he may have seen a Kiwi bird though!).
He looked in the bunker, still not there! Dad said, “it must be in the hole!”. Sunset looked in the hole, ran back to Dad
and said, “the ball is not in the hole!”.
Suddenly,
there was a ‘splash’! Sunset had dived
into the water! He came out of the
water, but without the golf ball. Where
could it be? Then, Sunset looked behind
Dad and the golf ball was right there!
It must have bounced back off a tree!
Sunset was happy that he’d found the golf ball because it meant that we
could carry on with the rest of our game.

ReplyDeleteIt's what you shout in golf if you hit a bad shot and you think that it might hit someone or go out of bounds. So it's like a warning to other players.
