My favourite memory was when my whanau [family] went to the te-Waka-a-maui [South Island] for a week or rua[two]. I can’t remember how long it was. Matthew and I only found out on the day of the flight, in the morning when we were told to put tidy clothes in. Then we drove to Rotorua Airport and dropped our motoka[car] off at my Papas[dads] cousin. When we got on the aropereina[plane] it was cool because I had never been on a big passenger aropereina[plane]. We arrived at Christ Church and got a rental motoka[car] and drove to a motera[motel] It was extremely fun.
