Why
the Kangaroo Hops
Long,
long ago the Kangaroo walked on all four paws. At day he would sleep under the
Mugla trees and at day he would hunt.
One
day when he was lazily sleeping under the big Mugla trees a wild bush fire
started. Kangaroo woke up and tried to escape the fierce fire but he was
trapped, so he ran through the wild fire but he burnt his front paws badly. So
he hopped as close as he dared to the flames then took a mighty leap over the
fierce fire and he landed safely. He hopped to safety, but when he tried to
walk on all four paws he found he couldn’t.
If
you look carefully at a Kangaroos front paw you will see that they have been
burnt badly.
