The Accident

The Accident
Once upon a time there was a town which was always busy. We were walking down the street and we saw this old man who was crossing the road even though he forgot his glasses. Then this car and a tow truck came racing down the street. The drivers didn’t see the old man crossing the street and the old man didn’t see the drivers. So the truck and the car still went racing down but they didn’t see the old man until it was too late. Splat!!!!! Blood flew everywhere.
The car came racing to a halt. The driver got out and raced to the bonnet where the submerged dead man lay. The tow truck also stopped and its driver came racing to the scene. He dialled 111 and said there has been a crash and one old man is dead. By the time he got off his IPhone there was a slowly growing crowd around the cars bonnet. Then they heard the sirens of the ambulance, fire trucks and the cop cars. Now the car driver was worrying whether he would have to go to jail. The ambulance, fire trucks and the cop cars were there by now and were placing the remains of the old dead man onto a tarpaulin and folding it up. A police officer came over to the car driver and said “you are under arrest for manslaughter and reckless driving”.
He lost his licence for two and a half years after he got out of jail in two years time. He also received 360 hours of community service. The man was so sad and never forgot the horrible day.
