Veronica the greedy girl

Veronica the Greedy Girl

Once upon a time there was a young girl called Veronica. Her room was in the basement. One day the richest man in town was walking past the old rundown house when he heard crying. He found out it was Veronica who was crying and saying “I’m so unlucky I have no toys and my room is in a basement!” the rich man felt pity on the girl so he decided to adopt her. He had no children of his own. So he got her a room at his house when she moved in.
A week later he was walking past her room and heard her crying “I’m so unlucky I’ve read all my books and my room is grey when blue would be so much better!”  The man was confused because he thought she should be more grateful but he pitied her so he painted her room blue and bought her dolls to play with.
But a week later he heard her cry “I’m so unlucky I’ve played with all my dolls and I want a plasma T.V!” The man was angry that she was unhappy but he took her shopping for clothes and toys and got her a T.V
A month later surprise surprise a she  screamed “I’m so unlucky I have to live in this house when it would be so much better to live in a castle with a lush garden!” the man was furious that she was so ungrateful that he said “I’m tired of you being such an ungrateful brat!” he took her back to the run down old house and left her there and never came back.

  1. Kate I really like your story and how Veronica was so greedy and how the rich man was so mad at her for being so ungrateful. I also really liked the message that you sent out because I know that if they read your story and they were ungrateful they would never be ungrateful again. That was the best story that I have ever read!!!

  2. Kate, I think you did a very well on your story. I think it was a neat idea for you to make Veronica a spoiled brat. I hope you will write more stories for us to read.
